Classic • Vintage • Muscle • Custom | Frame-Off & Full Auto Restoration
At ER Collision & Auto Body Shop, we specialize in show-quality car restoration services for Orange County. With 15+ years of experience, an I-CAR Gold Class facility, & a passion for automotive craftsmanship, we restore your classic, vintage, muscle, or custom vehicle to its original beauty — or better.
Located in Huntington Beach servicing Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Westminster, Newport Beach, Anaheim & surrounding Orange County communities. Our team delivers frame-off restorations, rust repair, OEM-grade parts, custom paint & full interior reupholstery — all backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty.
Whether you’re restoring a 1960s Mustang, a Chevelle SS, a rare Porsche coupe, or building a one-off custom, our team follows a detail-oriented, factory-correct process. That same meticulous care is applied to legendary models like the Dodge Charger, Camaro Z/28, Pontiac GTO, Corvette Stingray, BMW 2002, Jaguar E-Type, Mercedes-Benz SL, Volkswagen Beetle, Shelby GT500, Toyota 2000GT, and even vintage imports like the Datsun 240Z and Alfa Romeo Spider.
From American muscle to European classics and JDM icons, we bring each vehicle back to life with precision craftsmanship, era-authentic components, and a deep respect for its original engineering.
We start with a full assessment to identify rust, frame condition & mechanical needs. You’ll get a clear, phase-based estimate tailored to your goals.
The car is fully torn down & placed on a rotisserie (if needed). We remove rust, perform structural repairs on Car‑O‑Liner benches & use OEM weld-through primers for lasting strength.
Engines, suspensions, wiring & brake systems are rebuilt or upgraded — from carb tuning & EFI conversions to vintage harness replacements — all with safety & originality in mind.
We offer custom paint jobs for vintage cars, using waterborne PPG or Glasurit finishes in a climate-controlled downdraft booth. All paint blends are color-matched to factory specs or custom palettes.
Reupholstery, dashboard restoration, gauge recalibration & trim polishing are done in-house or with local specialists — all tailored to your vehicle’s era & originality.
After reassembly, we conduct a multi-point quality check & road test to ensure full function and safety. Vehicles are then detailed and delivered — either at your door or via in-shop pickup.
We restore and customize:
Classic American Muscle Cars – Camaro, GTO, Charger, Mustang
Vintage European Coupes & Sedans – Porsche, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes
Antique & Collector Cars – Pre-war, post-war, and custom hot rods
Custom Builds & Show Cars – One-off performance or body conversions
Electric & Hybrid Restomods – Modern powertrains in vintage shells
Whether it’s frame-off restoration, custom fabrication, or OEM-spec rebuilds, we treat every car like it’s headed to a concours.

“Did you know? Car restoration is one of the fastest-growing automotive services worldwide, expanding more than 11% every year. That means restoring your vehicle is not only about looks — it’s a smart investment that preserves long-term value.”
A local collector brought in a 1967 Mustang Fastback with heavy rust, faded paint & a non-functional drivetrain. The vehicle had sat untouched for over a decade, with structural corrosion affecting the subframe, suspension mounts & rocker panels.
Our team performed a full frame-off restoration — including rust removal, panel fabrication, OEM part sourcing & a complete drivetrain rebuild. Using Glasurit 90-Line for period-correct paint and custom interior reupholstery, we returned the car to show-quality condition.
The project was completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule & won Best Restoration in Class at a local Huntington Beach auto show.
